Where life is good

Christmas

“Don’t worry love, I know what I’m doing Gawen shouted from the kitchen to where his now very pregnant wife was waiting for him. “Ill be right there!
Gawen cooking for Elaine

Elaine held her hart as her husband walked in with a platter of bread and cheese. She was now 8 months pregnant and often very hungry at night. To top everything off, Gawen was overly concerned. He hadn’t been around for the first pregnancy, so he didn’t know it was quite normal for Elaine to be tired a lot, or a bit sick. It was Christmas, and the servants had all been given permission to attend the midnight mass, leaving the King and Queen alone in the castle, only the royal guard was there. So, Gawen had to make Elaine her snack. Now let’s only hope it’s edible…

After her snack, the Queen retired to her bedchamber, quickly followed by Gawen who wouldn’t leave his wife unattended for a second. He went to sleep as well, it had been a long day and tomorrow, on Christmas day, he would have to do a lot of public appearances.

In the middle of the night, Elaine felt familiar back pains setting in. She didn’t want to wake Gawen up, he might get to upset to soon, so she sat on the side of the bed, waiting for the first contraction to wave by.

As the pain ceased, she felt her water braking and stood up to clean the mess it had made, thus waking up her husband. After a second not realising what was happening, Gawen rushed out of bed.

Awww, Gawen and Elaine are so perfect together! He is such a good husband staying by his wife’s side through all of that! I’m proud of him. Jeric is adorable too. I can’t wait to see what he looks like as he gets older…and will he be such a good man like his father? Great update!

Oh that was the sweetest birth I think I’ve ever seen, and you got such great pictures with unique perspective. That Gawen sure is perfect, and little Jeric is a stunning baby, with such individualistic features. He doesn’t look like the average sim baby (perhaps because he is royalty) Your custom content is so perfect for this. Great story.

That was the most unique birth I’ve seen on a Sims blog. VERY well written and so realistic! Bravo Yannick. And wow Gawen is an excellent husband. *sigh*

Yay! I love Gawen and Elaine! :D And Jeric has such a pretty skin, where did you get that?
I love the story, and how you made all those pictures before she actually went into labour in the Sims2 itself. :)

Aww … what a great update. And what a lovely Christmas present! :) Gawen … if only we could all find a Gawen for ourselves. Man, I wonder if there are any men out there in the world who would remain so calm during a woman’s birth … especially if they had no other help! Great update. Beautiful update.
