Where life is good

Lord Pecuniaris had been looking for his wife since he came home from his round of the grounds. It wasn’t like Calendra at all not to be there when her husband arrived home. Ever since her sudden change of heart so many years ago, Calendra had been the most doting wife that had ever lived.

Philippe finally found his lady-wife up on the roof, looking out over the grounds.

Carlotta was thinking. Her second born son and heir to the Pecuniaris name and fortune, Joseph, had married lady Morgane Ruffia, now Pecuniaris about a year ago. It was a small ceremony, but the whole family was there and the King and Queen had send their regards to the young couple..

The blushing bride had recently bore her husband a son and heir and Joseph had named his child Philippe II, after his own father.

She was no longer a young woman, Calendra thought, but her life had been full with joy and love. Her eldest daughter, Elena, had joined a convent and Maya was recently married off to a wealthy tradesman and was expecting her first child.

But why was she so sad?

Yay! I love your Lothian updates! I’m so glad Calendra finally fell in love with her husband. And whatever happened to the slave boy and her illegitimate child?

Awww…

That’s sweet.

But I do wonder about Calendra’s child as well. What ever became of him?

I’m happy to hear about Calendra again. I hope she learns about the fate of her other son before she dies. I hope to hear about the people of Lothian again soon!

Awww, I’m glad Calendra found true love with Philippe and they are happy together. But I, too, wonder what happened to her child. Will she ever find out?

Yes. I wonder about the child too. I really love your Lothian story. I’m glad you’ve updated. I have to go read the next one now.

Oh how very sweet. Phillip II has beautiful blue eyes. But you’ve left me with lots of unanswered questions, so I’m off to read more.

Can he still carry her after all these years? Is his back really that strong? WOO! So she’s in love with him? I still think it was a love that has grown over time. So I think really she could have answered yes to both parts of the question. A love that grows over time is THE best kind of love in my opinion.
