Abigail rushed to the phone, but she already knew what to expect. The whole family had seen it coming. Still, her stomach turned inside out when she picked up the phone.

“Abi? It’s me, Dorian. Her stepfather sounded defeated. “I’m in the hospital. Could Anthony go and pick up Wyatt and Mehrisa? They’re with the sitter.
“Sure Dorian. Abigail said silently. “It’s happened, hasn’t it? she added, almost whispering, tears running down her cheeks.
“Yes. Can you come over Abigail?
“I’ll be there as soon as Anthony returns with the kids

Thank

I wanted to thank all the people who have been reading my blog for the past year now (yes, this month, Rock Valley celebrated it’s first birthday!) and the people who just tuned in and started following the stories of my sims.

I have lots in store for you for the next year. The Mason Legacy has reached generation seven and I will definetly finish them before OFB comes out so that I can start the new challenge with the G10 heir.

My first, classic turned uni turned nightlife family, the Legacies, are only in generation five, but I’m trying to get back to them, I liked their lives so far, but somewhere in G5, I got bored with them and started the Masons. Still, I would like to finish that legacy as well.

Next, I’m planning a prosperity/royal kingdome challenge, my own combination of both of those. Still doubting between mideaval and Victorian time tough, but you can expect to see one of those coming up by the end of february.

And last but not least, I am playing my non-heir children and having them live their lives, so maybe there will be more stories on them as well!

I love reading the comments, sharing my toughts trough the gameplay notes and seeing what other people think of this blog. So don’t hesitate, leave me a comment! I always respond to comments, so check back on them if you asked me a question!

Next, Rock Valley is now not only hosted on it’s own (has been for a while now), but there is a nice new domain name leading to it as well: www.yicke.be will now take you here, without the commercial pop-ups that were attached to the .tk name. So, all of you who have this blog linked, or who want to link it, please use the new URL as the .tk name will soon cease to exist!

And please, keep reading and commenting during the second year of Rock Valley!! –>

Warning: This update contains some partial nudity and some sexual descriptions. If you are not comfortable reading such things, please do not read any further.

7 years have passed since we last saw Abigail and Anthony. Abi and Tony adopted a son, Edward. The boy had had a rough life and found peace and love with his two adoptive parents. He has just turned 21 and is living on his own now. The boys, Matthew and Nicholas, have set of to college. They just turned 18. Abigail is 35 now, and expecting her fifth natural and sixth legal child. They were pleased to find out it wasn’t going to be twins this time. Abigail loves being pregnant now that she does not have toddlers to look after. Anthony, now 40 years old, is still a great father and even better husband to Abigail and their kids. Looks like he had his wake-up call almost losing them so many years ago.

Helena

Notice: this entry contains some violence and is quite explicit in it’s language. Please don’t read if you feel you can’t handle that.

Abigail’s twin-sisters, Stella and Helena had been at college at the time of their father’s death.
The girls had come home for the funeral and then continued their education. By the time they graduated, Stella had saved enough money to buy a sweet little house in the suburbs. She invited her sister Helena to come live with her, but Helena, who had fallen in love with Marcus Zucchero, decided to move in with her boyfriend.

Marcus was one of those guys nobody wants their daughter dating. He was 28 years old, never finished High School and lived of his social security. He was a womaniser, so it was no surprise he was able to get Helena on cloud number nine.

Last time, we saw Abigail Philips doubt the choices she had made in life. What happened to her next?

Abi couldn’t take it any more. Her boyfriend had gotten completely apathic and staying home with two newborn children while trying to finish her degree was to much.
She cried herself silently to sleep every night for months after the babies were born. What finally did it was Matthew getting sick at three months of age. In tears, Abigail called home.

Lexie answered the phone only to hear her eldest daughter cry.
“Momma?
“Abi?
“Can I come home mom?

Of course she could and Lexie went to pick up her daughter and grandchildren immediately. It was December and very cold outside, so she didn’t want Abigail taking a sick Matthew on the bus with her.
Back in the house, Lexie cooked them some pancakes and they sat down to talk.

Last time, I talked about George and Abigail moving of to college. Let’s see how they spent their years there, shall we?

George and Abigail were of on a fresh start. Being away from their ever-growing family for the first time made them feel very grown-up and independent.

In the next update, or the one after that, I don’t remember, I’m moving the family into a house I downloaded of Mod The Sims. It’s the English retreat made by nengi65 and I would like to thank the creator for making such a beautifull home! I’m sure my family will be spending many happy generations there!

Grag

Well, we’re all caught up with the rest of Grag’s close relatives (there are still his aunts, but they will be covered in the future), so let’s go and see what Grag and Lexie got up to, shall we?

Last time we checked on Lexie, she had found out she was expecting baby number six and Melinda had been born a few months earlier.
At this point, Melinda is a sweet 10 month old baby who loved the fact that her mom was home to play with her all day long. Her uncle Brashen and great-aunt Malta had moved out, so there was plenty of room for the family to grow.
Lexie spent the entire day playing with her kids and being a good mother.
