Bulldozer

I HAD to do it. I know I lost a lot of things, but I had to do it.

My Legacy lot got bugged, nothing extremely serious, but it became quite impossible to play. Like a toddler who had moved out came back in the sims’ action queue’s “hold toddler” constantly, making it impossible for them to eat, sleep, use the toilet, go to work, unless I deleted the action. I am a micro-manager, but this was an inch to far.
Second, certain walls and floortiles on the second floor became undeletable. Very difficult if you want to move the house further back on the lot, it leaves you with floating tiles and walls. Not a pretty sight, plus they cast shadows on the lot.
A lot of other little things happend as well, all but one of my tombstones dissapeared on their own, so I didn’t lose a lot of ghosts. I did lose 3 carrier reward objects and some vials of elexir. But those can be rewon. And the graves were lost anyway. So, in a day or so, I will post an update on the new house, but now, I am very busy building them a pretty house that can stay for ever!!

Decisions

I finaly made my decision: instead of rushing trough my Legacy Challenge (I am only up to pregnancy for G5 currently), I am going to keep making the storylines I want to make and just finish after University comes out. OK, the challenge will officialy be over, but I can keep playing for ever.
As big a cheater as I was before, right now, I feel bad when I use even the smallest money-cheat. Plus those-all put in big houses from the beginning families are terribly boring. So even on my satelite houses I use only a limited money-cheat, enough to give them a small house with a minimum in it, but no big mansion, they have to work for those. I hate the “no walls, living on the lawn”-phase of the challenge, so I do start them out with a small sum, but then, they’re on their own.

What a challenge can do to a girl…

They were so happy welcoming little Dennis in to their home. This boy was as much Cat’s as it was Kay’s and both women took an instant liking to their new son. Kaylin was extatic. Being a mother really suited her and she couldn’t have been any happier.

“What’s on your mind love?” Cat asked softly. She hated when Kay looked so concerned, she wished she could take all the worries away from her.

“Cat, I love you, and I love your children. You know that, don’t you?” Kaylin said.

Finaly the big day had come: Catherine and Kaylin’s wedding. Both women had chosen their wedding dresses seperate from each other, and Cat smiled seeing that her bride had chosen the same dress that she had chosen.

I haven’t been able to do the announced update due to a death in the family and my mother-in-law unexpected going to the hospital for a week for knee surgery. The funeral was last friday and my mother-in-law is now back home so I hope to find some more time for my sims and my blog. I do need to play 5 more generations before the end of february (after which this blog will continue with sim-stories, but on other families probably).
