I keep everybody waiting way too long. But I have some good reasons:

1. I started working. Yup, I’m a big girl now, but this, combined with the renovation and the upcoming move, is giving me very little time to play or write.
2. I installed a lot of stuff that I hope will enhance my pictures. But it takes a lot of time to get to know.
3. I bought Glamour Life, but that too, takes some time to install, back-up, etc.
4. I got caught up in reading “Lothere”, another Royal Kingdome story, beautifully written and very very addictive. So I read instead of played. Sorry.

But, good news: glamour life is installed, I got all my new mods to work, I played and I have a weekend off next weekend, so I have some updates waiting to be written and published! I’m an active member in several Sims Yahoo groups, but I found out that not all of my readers are in the same place, making it hard to get everybody up to date with my updates.

glad you like the stories! I’m answering all your comments in one post, as this is the only way you’ll get all the answers to the questions you’re asking and maybe some answers will interest others as well!

- For Kate: As she isn’t in a Legacy-house and isn’t an heir or influencing the heir, I used Inteeminator, which let’s teens get pregnant, and married to the father of their child while pregnant. It allows you to turn off the age-restrictions, so teens can marry adults. I don’t like to much age difference, as it quickly looks tacky, but if he’s in college, then it’s perfectly possible that they’re only a few years appart. So Inteen is your thing!

- The pregnancy clothes aren’t pregnancy clothes. I have a “wear normal clothes/anything while pregnant hack”, it doesn’t alter game-play or scoring, just the way they look. I found it on Mod The SIms, do a search there. There is also a way of forcing them into regular PJ’s with a hacked dresser, then all you have to do is alter the regular clothes so they can be found under PJ’s. Voila, that’s the only secret I have…

- The plastic surgery is a carrier reward item, I think it came with the Nightlife expansion pack.

- The blanket never gave me any trouble. Mind that it IS the normal one, not the one that makes toddlers go to sleep on their own. I’ve had it for a long time, maybe you should re-download it.

- No, there is no hospital anywhere, it’s just a set I built for the occasion. The basket is from MTS, the walls etc are regular maxis stuff I think. It just takes some planning ahead. It’s the same with the funeral, it’s staged. The coffin came with nightlife, the vampires sleep in it.

- Most of my downloads are from the sites listed in the side bar. I will be altering the links in a day or two, update them to my current most-used ones. I’m download-mad, I get tons of stuff, most of the things I haven’t used before.

- Lexie died of disease, sorry… I DID prevent Dorian from saving her though, as I liked the drama. –>

A while ago, I did a major clean up of my neighbourhood. It was getting cramped with satellites I didn’t play any more. During that, my computer acted up and I lost some families, including Abigail, Anthony and their heir, which explains their long absence.

I couldn’t find them anywhere and was thinking of re-starting because I had a lot of crashes, when, all of the sudden, in a blur of geniality, I remembered InSiminator comes with a summoner, which lets you bring sims over to your currently played lot. So, I went into Dorian’s house and managed to get them all back! Then, I figured out my problems were not game-related, but hardware, something about my video card and Open For Business, but the patch has solved that problem as well.

I’m currently making major updates of all my systems. After having graduated, I feel the need for clean hard disks and clean cabinets in my old room, to make space for new things and de-debris my past before moving in with my boyfriend, so you’ll all have to wait a little bit, but the Mason-story will be continued.

I do have some Lothian stories about ready to be written, so I’ll keep you all as busy as I can during my absence. The comment-thing worked, so I can re-focus on the writing.

I’m leaving on a short 10-day vacation this afternoon, so there won’t be any updates for at least 10 days to come.
I would like to thank you all for reading this blog, it certainly is not discontinued, it just was on hold during the final months of my studies, but as I have graduated two days ago and will not start working untill september, simming will be very high on my priority-list, so there will be plenty of updates in the near future.
